PAWS (People for Animal Welfare Society) will host an open house Saturday, Feb. 27, from 10 am to noon at the animal shelter, located at 605 W. Russell St, Jefferson.
PAWS has “cuddly canines” and many “fabulous felines,” in varying ages, sizes, colors and temperaments, available for adoption.
PAWS volunteers invite the public to meet the animals in the environment they have become comfortable in. “You never know – you might just fall in love and find your new ‘forever’ family member,” a spokesperson said.
